The Spark – Mila’s Story
It all began with a simple question from Mila, our founder Morgan's 14-year-old daughter.
Mila needed extra time for tests and learning tasks at school. Teachers were told she should wear a visible disability lanyard so they'd know. But Mila worried about the stigma of being singled out in front of classmates.
She turned to her dad and asked, "Is there another way?" - That moment became the spark for Please Bee.
From Idea to Innovation
Morgan noticed Mila always carried her payment card in her transparent phone case. He scribbled a note, placed it behind the card, and showed her how she could discreetly flip it over to share her needs with a teacher and flip it back to stay incognito.
This simple act inspired a bigger idea
What if a dedicated payment card could carry discreet, customizable support messages, and also connect with an e-learning platform that educated shops, restaurants, airports, and businesses worldwide to better serve people with non-visible disabilities?
Morgan teamed up with long term friend and business associate Raj Kher who also had over a decade of experience in the assistive tech space.
Together Morgan and co-founder Raj used their combined experience to bring the Please Bee card to life and discreetly support millions of people with disabilities to feel more empowered through inclusive FinTech.
And that is how Please bee
came to life.
